Welcome to the Fitzwilliam Police website.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the mission statement of the department and our pledge to the community.  The Fitzwilliam Police Department is committed to the protection and service of it's citizens.  We will adhere to the highest ethical standards and treat all people with respect.  We will be impartial, non judgmental, and consistently fair in the performance of our duties.  We will always exhibit professionalism in our appearance, actions, and decisions, and will promote moral values through honesty and trust.  We will work to maintain the quality of life as we know it, and will provide our police officers continued education and training in order to render quality service.

Our staff are specialty trained in areas that are of interest to them and that will benefit the community.  Officers specialize in criminal investigation and interrogation, crime prevention, community youth development, R.A.D., firearms safety and awareness, drug and alcohol recognition, and more.

Separate from the police is the animal control division.  This department is under the direction of the police and handles only domestic animal complaints.

Although we are a small agency, the Town is fortunate to have such dedicated personnel who are professionally trained and have personal involvement with the town.

Please feel free to call upon the police to assist you with legal or criminal matters. Our goal is to maintain excellent public relations with our citizens and provide the best police coverage possible.
