Each year, officers spend time on the range qualifying in the various weapons and close-quarter tactics to achieve a high level of proficiency. Training evolutions such as these are essential for protecting both the officer and the public we serve.

Weapons Training (October 2008): Training photos here were part of the weapons training and qualifications evolution that included officers from surrounding communities as well as Fitzwilliam. Training included dominant and non-dominant hand draw and fire drills, close proximity draw and fire drills, slow fire accuracy shooting and automatic weapons firing.
